ID hospital is the first hospital in Asia, specialized for maxillofacial surgery.

 

The ID Hospital building was designed and built solely for facial bone surgery. The high-tech building reflects our philosophy on safety. Patients’ safety was our #1 priority from the very early stages of the architectural design which includes aseptic germ-free air showers, self-generating power stations, and fireproof interiors.

 

In ID Hospital, every patient undergoes the aseptic air shower system before surgery, which is limitedly used even in major general hospitals. Patients’ safety is our #1 priority in maxillofacial surgeries.

 

ID Hospital has a self-generating power system which is safe from power blackouts. Because of the high cost, most clinics do not have such systems but ID hospital operates the self-generating power system to guarantee patients' safety.

 

Including all patients’ rooms, the entire floor of our hospital is fireproof which is highly resistant to fire.

 

The post-surgery recovery room and intensive care rooms are managed by nurses who are highly experienced from working at ICUs of university hospitals, thereby enhancing the intensity of care.

 

Most plastic surgery clinics conduct pre-operative laboratory tests such as general blood tests, liver function test, electrocardiogram, and chest X-rays from outside facilities. However, ID Hospital conducts intense pre-ops with its independent facilities within the hospital.

 

It is hard to detect everything with a conventional X-ray examination. ID is fully set up with CT equipment’s and every patient undergoes 3D CT scanning before the surgery to accurately check their conditions.
